Driving Tips and Other Information
Linville Falls is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway
near Milepost 316.4, about 66 miles north of Asheville.
The Visitors Center has restrooms, picnic area and an information center that is open May-October and weekends in April. The parking area and trails are open all year long, except when
snow closes them or the Parkway. |
|
The Dugger's Creek Trail is only 3/10 mile. From the
Visitor Center You can access the trail at the far corner of the parking lot (near the entrance to the parking area to the left as you drive in) The easy trail takes you down by some rocks to a small wooden
bridge that provides the view in the photo to the right. Along the
way, enjoy lush foliage, wildflowers and mushrooms. |
