Best to get there just as the
park is opening around 9:00 am

Tripods are not allowed under the
tree, so if you take one, you can stand back and use it. Best
just to leave it in the car.

Best to start out by
photographing the entire tree, just go under the tree and photograph
different areas of the tree.

There are yellow plastic chains
around the tree in order to keep people from damaging the tree.
Consider shooting about the chains whenever possible. |
